THE HOLY WEEK

The holy week in my opinion is very short. The last year I went to Valencia. The majority of the people go to a place near the beach, because this week coincide when the season, spring began after a very long winter. However, this time I stay here, in Alcorcón.

`Love me do´ is the first single of the Beatles, at Abbey Road in September 1962. It was one of Paul´s songs. Fans wrote to radio stations, asking them to play the record. By December 1962, the song was quite succesful at number seventeen most popular single that week.

The Beatles have to choose a new song for the important second record. George Martin didn´t like any of John and Paul´s songs, so he choose a new song, but, the band said no.

Finally, George Martin agreed with the band toto record one of John´s songs, `Please Please Me´.

`Love me do´is my favourite Beatle´s song because is one of the first Beatle´s song that I heard. Is short, simple and is easy to translate, because I like to know what I heard. Have march and rhyme.

I don't like too much the Beatles but this is my favourite Beatles' song.

Eleanor Rigby

Eleanor Rigby is a song by The Beatles released simultaneously on the Revolver album and as a single double A-side. Prinicipal The song was written by Paul McCartney but credited to Lennon / McCartney. [1] With a double string quartet orchestrated by George Martin and the striking lyrics about loneliness, the song made to continue the transformation of the group, mainly in the Pop making see a band of more serious and experimental study. Rolling Stone placed it at number 137 of its list of the 500 greatest songs ever.
The song was written in John's house and the original name was "Ola Na Tungee" and the priest was called Father McCartney, until they realized that everyone would think they were talking about Paul's father, so I changed the name MacKenzie.

Paul always maintained that the name "Eleanor" I take the actress Eleanor Bron (who starred in the movie Help!) And the name "Rigby" was a grocery store located in the city of Bristol. But during the 80s, someone found a grave in the courtyard of St. Peter's church (where they met John and Paul), whose epitaph was inscribed the name "Eleanor Rigby" (dead on October 10, 1939 at age 44 years).

Cocido madrleño

INGREDIENTS:

- 400 grammes of chickpeas

- 1/4 unit, chiken

- Bone of ham, 1 unit

- Bone of rod

- Chorizo (for cook), 100 grammes

- Little cabbage, 1 unit

- Carrot, 2 units

- Salt

- End of ham

- Chesse of rodilla, 1 unit

- 1 Clove of garlic

- Potatoes

- Oliva oil.

PREPARATION:

Put the chickpeas in soaking, the last night, in lukewarm water with salt. Put 2 litres of water in a big saucepan and add the bone of ham and the end of ham (wash all), put in the fire and when you see foam, you have to separate with a skimmer. Drain the chickpeas and puted in a net and puted in the saucepan. The time for to cook is between 2 hours and 3 hours. Let boil slowly. Meanwhile wash, snack the cabbage and let cook with the soup.

In the middle of the cook (90 minutes) add the carrots and the patatoes, peel and wash, an add also the cuart of kitchen or hen. Continue the cook; If you need, you can put hot water for the chikpeas are bad.

When the chikpeas are soft, put the soup in other saucepan and add noodle and rice (if you like). Cook the garlic and add in the cabbage.

You have to put like a first plate the soup with noodle, and like the second plate the vegetables and the pieces of meat.

"Fool on the Hill was mine and I think I was writing about someone like Maharishi. His detractors called him a fool. Because of his giggle he wasn't taken too seriously ... I was sitting at the piano at my father's house in Liverpool hitting a D 6th chord, and I made up Fool on the Hill."

(Maharishi was a leader of the transcendental meditation movement)

I've choosen it because it is my mother's Beatle's favourite song and because I think it has beautiful lirycs.
It talks about a man who lives along in a hill, has a ridicoulos smile and everyone thinks his a fool, hi talks perfecly loud but nobody ever hears him but he never seems to notice. He never shows his feelings, he never hears them.
"But the fool on the hill, sees the sun going down and the eyes in his head, sees the world spining round ".

My favourite song of the Beatles is Glass Onion.

I like it because is rhythmic and I think it's a happy song and I also think that this song was played by all the Beatles.I also like it because they played some instruments that I like and also the melody is well, so I think that this song is the best of all the songs they have recorded.

This song was written in 1968 by John Lennon and appeared in the White album.It was published the 22th of november 1968.

This was the first song in the album where Ringo Starr appeared in the drums, because, before, he has to left the recording sessions for a short time and been replaced with Paul McCartney in the previous songs like "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Dear Prudence".

The song refers to several earlier Beatles' songs, including "Strawberry Fields Forever","I am the walrus","Lady Madonna","The fool on the hill"and "Fixing a hole".There are also subtle, passing references to"Theres' a place","I am looking through you"and "Within you without you".

Well, in general this is the only song I like of the Beatles because I don't like very much.

Ingredients:
-4 Eggs. -50 Grams of extra virgin olive oil -320 Grams of spaghetti
-100 grams grated cheese -150 grams diced bacon

Preparation:
Take a large pan and pour the oil and the diced bacon, cook 5 minutes over low heat, then beat the eggs with pepper and cook pasta as usual after that, drain the pasta and pour into the pan, cook 5 minutes low heat and mix well and then remove from heat and pour beaten eggs, mix well and also add grated cheese and mix thoroughly until it forms a cream.

CREAM OF PUMPKIM

INGREDIENTS

· 1/4 kg. of pumpkim

· 1 big potato

· 1 spoonful of butter

· 1l. of stock

· 3 yolks of egg

· 1/4 l. of liquid cream

PREPARATION

1) Take out the skin and the seeds of the pumpkin and peel the potato.

2) Cut the potato and the pumpkin(you can cut it bigger or in smaller pieces).

3) Heat in a frying pan the oil and fry a little bit the potatos and the pumpkin pieces.

4) Pass this to a casserole and you must put the stock immendiatly and leave this cooking 1h.on a low heat.

5) Beat the pumpkin and the potato,put salt and heat again in a higher temperature.Then you shuold add the butter.

6) Break down the yolks with the liquid cream out of the fire,then put this mixture with the cream.

Granizado de chocolate

INGREDIENTS :

700 grams of water

200 grams of sugar

200 grams of cocoa without sugar

lives of fresh mint

PREPARATION:

Put the sugar with the water and cocoa to melt. Is important that you moves without stopping so as not to be hard and if it possible with a wood spoon.

When the mixture begin to boil, remove it and wait several minutes for us to cool. Finally spread the mixture of chocolat in several glasses (more or less 4) and leave in the freezer. Remove them from time to time.

When you go to eat srpinkle the mint leaves and thats all you can start to eat.

fruit jelly

Ingredients:

-Fruits in syrup.
- 4 peaches.
-1 jar of cherries and another of pears.
-Sugar.
-8 sheets of jelly.
-1 lemon.
-2 oranges.

Preparation:

Put to soak the jelly. In a pot, in fire, put 1 glass of fruit syrup, with lemon juice and orange juice. Adds another 4 tablespoons of sugar and warm. When began to boil, pour the drained jelly and stir until it dissolved. Wait until it cools a bit. In a mold, put the third part of this liquid and put to cools until it thickens. Place at the topthe thir part of the fruits. Cover with the third part of the liquid and put again to cools. Make this 2 more times until it finished the jelly and the fruits. Let it to cool several hours until you unmolding a source. Serve very cold and cut it into portions.

Ingredients :

-250 g of cheese of Burgos

Chiken curry

Ingredients (four portions)

-two green peppers
-asorted vegetables (carrots,esparragus,green beens,mushrooms)
-coriander
-half an onion
-coconut milk (you can also use cow milk)
-olive oil
-chiken breasts
-one vegetable stock cube
-cardamomom
-lemon grass (or lemon juice)
-mild curry (you can change it for medium or hot if you want)
-basmati rice (optional)


Preparation

- Put some olive oil in a saucepan,add the chopped onion,green pepper and the rest of vegetables.
-Stir for a while.Cut the chiken breasts into pieces, put them into the saucepan and stir.
-Add twelve cardamomom seeds, the coriander, the curry powder, the vegetable stock cube and the lemon grass.
-Add milk until cover.
-Cook for ten minutes in medium fire.
-Serve it with the basmati rice.

Chocolate con churros

Ingredients for Churros:

- One glass of flour

- One glass of water

- Salt and sugar

- Olive oil

Preparation:

1. You boil the water and you add the mixture of flour, salt and sugar.

2. You stir it until you have a hard pastry.

3. While you are doing this you heat abundant olive oil in a pan.

4. When it is hot enough you add the "churros". When they are browned you take them out from the pan.

Ingredients for chocolate:
- 100 grammes of black chocolate

- Half a glass oh water

- A little bit of cinnamon

Preparation:

1. You grate the chocolate and you put the milk in a saucepan and add the water and the cinnamon. Leave it 5 minutes.

2. Add to the saucepan the grated chocolate and wait for 10 minutes until it is creamy.

Macaroni and cheese

INGREDIENTS

-500g de macarrones

-200g de carne de vacuno picada

-150g de carne de cerdo picada

-1 Frasco de salsa de tomate

-1 Cebolla picada

-1 Cucharadita de sazonador Avecrem, ajo y perejil

PREPARACIÓN

Ingredientes.

-6 yohurts of chocolate "La Lechera".

- 180 g of cheese Philadelphia.

Preparation.

My custard(recipe)

Ingredients:
·A packet of custard
·Milk
·Sugar
·Cinnamon
·Biscuits
(Depends of the quantity you want you have to put more or less of each ingredient).
Preparation:

First of all, put the milk in a saucepan and start cooking it.Secondly, add the sugar and when the milk is boiling add the custard's podwers and mix it.More or less are ten minutes.Finally you put the custard in bowls and add one or two biscuitss and above it the cinnamon.As a result you have a delicious custard.

Chocolate Truffles

Preparation:

Bring butter in double boiler with chocolate bars and reserving a batter to grate truffles .
When melted, add the brandy and chill.

Carefuly add egg yolks and beaten egg with until stiff. Let stand in refrigerator until the dough hardens.

Ingredients:

-One terrine of whipped cream.

-One pack of biscuits squares.

-Chocolat powder.

-Milk.

-Cinnamon.

-Sugar.

Preparation:

- 1.4 liters of water
- 50 grams of artichokes
- 425 grams of rice
- 1 pinch saffron
- 150 grams of rabbit

- 25 grams of garrofón
- 50 gram is of broad beans
- 0.5 teaspoons of paprika
- 150 gram is chicken
- 3 tbsp tomato


Instructions for preparation:

Recipe
