Erin Brockovich

Erin Brockovich was born in June, 22, 1960. She is an American legal clerk and enviromental activitist who did not have a formal school education. She attended Lawrence High School and later in Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, and graduated with an Associate in Applied Arts Degree from Wades Business college in Dallas, Texas. She worked as a management trainee pageants. Ater winning Miss Pacific Coast, she gave up pageant life because she found it shallow. She was an instrumental in constructing a case against the Pacific Gas and Electric Company of California in 1993. Since the release of the film that shares her story and name, she has hosted two TV programmes and she is the president of Brockovich Research and Consulting. Actually, she is working as a consultant for Girardi and Keese, the New York law film Weitz and Luxenberg. She is a noted speaker in demand for U.S. and international engagements. Her story is the topic of a feature film, Erin Brockovich, starring Julia Roberts and directed by Steven Soderbergh. It was presented for first time in the year 2000.

I agree with her because she is fighting against a very important factor in the actual society. Pollution has reached a very high level and we all have to contribute to reduce pollution.
