The Book's Day
During the days 23, 24, 27 and 28 of April the Book's Day was celebrated in our High School. On April 23, the participant winners of poetry and short story, during the break, we were handed our prizes. Then we leaft school and went to the church of El Salvador to read El Quijote.
During the breaks of 24, 27 and 28, of april, there was a book market organized by the department of Spanish. By David.
Saving Private Ryan.
In the IES Butarque the week of film was helc, during which students from third year were able to watch the film Saving Private Ryan. The movie lasted 170 minutes, a film directed by director Steven Spielberg. The film won five Oscars.
During the invasion of Normandy, in the middle of World War II, a group of American soldiers is assigned to a dangerous mission: to save one man. Patrol Captain John Miller must risk their lives to find and bring back home Soldier James Ryan, whose three brothers have died in the war. The last thing known about Ryan is that he was launched with his platoon of paratroopers behind enemy lines. By Roberto.
Break Dance and Funky
Approximately two weeks ago there were polls about the workshops. Among them the choice of the participants was: break dance, funky, graffiti classes among others. After the counting of votes the chosen ones werebrake dance and funky. On April 27 some helpers for coordinating the program passed around the classes of the institute to verify the participants in the two categories. On April 30 the names of those who were involved were published and finally the day May 5 dance classes began. By José Andrés.
